Stefan Kennedy, CFLS – Partner
Stefan Kennedy is a California State Bar Family Law Specialist who has primarily been focused on the practice of family law since 2000. Stefan, however, continues to represent clients in criminal cases. Prior to practicing family law, Stefan was a Deputy Public Defender with the County of Santa Clara for six years where he gained invaluable trial experience. Stefan represents clients in all aspects of family law cases, including high asset matters with complex financial issues, child custody and visitation issues, support issues, as well as cases that involve domestic violence. Stefan is known for his excellent advocacy skills inside and outside of the courtroom, for his knowledge of the law, and for how much he cares for his clients. Although ready to litigate issues that must be litigated, Stefan believes strongly in trying to resolve cases through alternate dispute resolution. Getting parents and their children through a dissolution without unnecessary harm and disruption is the goal. In addition to representing clients going through litigation, Stefan provides consultation services to those clients who are engaged in mediation. Furthermore, Stefan is often retained as a private mediator in cases and he often volunteers as a Judge Pro Tem with the County of Santa Clara Superior Court. Stefan is a graduate of the University of California, at San Diego, and a graduate of the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. Stefan has been selected as a Top Rated Family Law Attorney with Super Lawyers every year since 2013.
Nicole Myers, CFLS – Partner
Nicole M. Myers is a California State Bar Family Law Specialist and founding partner of Kennedy Myers Law Offices, LLP. Since graduating from law school at UC, Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco in 2005, she has practiced family law exclusively. Nicole specializes in litigation of high-conflict family law issues including obtaining and defending against domestic violence restraining orders, child custody and visitation arrangements, move-away cases, and complex financial issues. Prior to starting her own firm in 2014, Nicole was the senior family law associate attorney at a family law firm in Santa Clara County. Nicole’s focus on both practice area and location has enabled her to develop relationships with most family law attorneys in Santa Clara County. More importantly, she has earned the respect and trust of family law experts, judges and mediators in the area. In addition to representing individual clients, Nicole also provides services as a mediator or a consulting attorney for those who wish to avoid litigation or prefer a less contentious and expensive avenue. She also frequently volunteers as a Settlement Judge for Santa Clara County Superior Court for mandatory settlement conferences and Settlement Officer Conferences. Nicole recently began serving as a long-term Parenting Coordinator to help resolve custody and visitation disputes and keep families out of court in high conflict situations. Nicole has built a reputation of providing aggressive, high quality representation of her clients in all aspects of family law. She lives with her husband and two children in Santa Clara County.
Danielle Hoover, Senior Associate Attorney
Danielle M. Hoover is a senior associate attorney at Kennedy Myers Law Offices, assisting partner Nicole Myers. Danielle has practiced family law exclusively since 2010, zealously representing clients in all aspects of family law. Danielle is committed to providing exceptional services to each and every client with aggressive and effective representation. Prior to joining Kennedy Myers Law Offices, Danielle was a senior associate at two highly respected family law firms in Menlo Park and in Los Gatos. Danielle earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California, where she was the recipient of various awards and recognitions. Danielle was nominated to the Northern California Rising Stars List in 2017, 2018, and 2019.
Jeremy Deuel, Senior Associate Attorney
Jeremy Deuel is a senior associate attorney at Kennedy Myers Law Offices, assisting partner Nicole Myers. Originally from New York, Jeremy relocated to California to attend law school. Since becoming an attorney in 2013, Jeremy has exclusively practiced family law in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Jeremy focuses his practice on custody and visitation disputes, child and spousal support, domestic violence, complex property division, and prenuptial agreements. He places a strong emphasis on attentive client service, effective advocacy, and clear communication throughout every stage of the legal process.
Jeremy previously served on the Executive Committee of the Santa Clara County Bar Association and as Co-Chair of its Barristers Committee.
Margaret Dellegrotti, Of Counsel
Margaret Dellegrotti supports partner Nicole Myers. She is an experienced family law attorney who has practiced in Bay Area law family law firms handling complex, high-asset, and high-conflict matters since 2013. Prior to this, Margaret started her legal career in 2010 at a civil litigation defense law firm which provided her invaluable knowledge in civil practice and discovery. She is proficient in all aspect of family law and has extensive experience in representing clients who are, or are the spouses of, successful businesspeople, doctors, entrepreneurs, attorneys, engineers, and more, throughout the Bay Area.
Though skilled in client advocacy and litigation, Margaret believes that clients are usually the most well-served when they can resolve their cases outside of the court. Margaret takes pride in providing her clients with a cost-benefit analysis so they can make informed decisions on various issues in their cases.
Margaret was awarded the designation of a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2019 through 2024.
Tiana Bolin, Law Clerk
Tiana began her career in family law in 2021 after graduating from the University of California, Berkeley. She advanced to the role of Law Clerk after beginning law school and is currently completing her final semester at Santa Clara University School of Law, where she will earn her Juris Doctor degree. Following graduation from Santa Clara, Tiana will sit for the California Bar Examination.
In her current role as Law Clerk, Tiana works closely with partner Nicole Myers on all aspects of family law matters, including drafting pleadings and discovery, assisting with case strategy, conducting in-depth legal research, and preparing matters for settlement and litigation. She is dedicated to providing thoughtful, thorough support and clear legal guidance to clients during some of the most challenging periods of their lives and remains committed to continuing her work in family law as an attorney.

Jessica Quiñonez
Senior Paralegal, CCLS
Jessica has been a family law assistant/paralegal in the Silicon Valley Since February 2009. She obtained her paralegal certificate in May 2009 and her A.S. in Paralegal Studies in 2018. Jessica is also a California Certified Legal Secretary. She passed the exam to earn her prestigious state board certification in March 2022.
Jessica plays a pivotal role assisting partner Nicole Myers in all aspects of day-to-day client contact, heavy calendar management, drafting pleadings and discovery, and also serves as Office Manager for the firm.

Denise Newsom
Senior Paralegal
Denise began her career in the legal profession over 30 years ago and has a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of Family Law. She obtained an Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science early in her career, and has enjoyed providing legal support to attorneys in Santa Clara County ever since.
Denise supports Nicole Myers as a Senior Paralegal in the everyday tasks involved in dissolutions and all other aspects of Family Law. Providing support to clients based on her extensive knowledge and experience is a very high priority for her.

Lauren Potter
Legal Assistant
Lauren works closely with partner Stefan Kennedy on case management, drafting pleadings, and new client intake . She graduated summa cum laude from UC - Irvine, and received her graduate degree from CSU - East Bay, where she graduated with honors.
